I Hate thieves

July 25th, 2005

I went for a quick dip at the Fritz Sick pool tonight. Over the couple years that I worked at that pool I’ve seen a few relatively minor instances of theft from the lockers so since I didn’t have a lock with me, I just brought my stuff out on deck with me.

It turns out that it was a very good idea because when I got out of the pool I overheard that someone had been going through the change rooms stealing whatever they could find. Apparently at least one lady had lost her watch and maybe some other belongings.

What makes people so selfish and inconsiderate? Thieves of the world, please quit thieving.

The reason I found this site was through searching on google ‘I hate thieves’. I have good enough reason to justify this statement (not that anyone needs any reason other than their name). I left my bike at the station, a new birthday present from my parents, I locked it up, but not very well as I was in a hurry. Being the naive girl I am, believing that no one could possible so horrid as to try sliding bikes out from locks, so got on my train. Only to return a few hours later to find no bike, but a still locked chain on the bike rack! I had to walk all the way home, feeling very sorry for myself and trying to figure out why someone felt the need to pinch my prized possesion which clearly meant nothing to them extra face value. Why steal? I hate thieves!!!!

Sorry to hear about your bike - I’ve had a lot of bikes stolen over the years (mostly because of my carelessness) but I still can’t say enough how much I hate thieves.

I agree with the hating thieves thing, theres no need to touch anything that isn’t yours. It’s not right. Although I am actually writing to ask you about the fritz sick pool, because I just moved to lethy and I’m looking for a good place to swim. is it a nice pool, aside from the thieves?

    Hey Addie,

Yeah the Fritz is a good pool to swim at. It’s a bit of a senior’s hang out (seeing as it is in the Senior Centre) but I like it.

My favorite place for swimming lengths is the Max Bell (University of Lethbridge pool). Are you looking for someone to swim with?

I hate thieves. I am in Mexico doing a clinical rotation for medical school. I was working out tonight in a gym. I bought a lock and key from the front desk of the gym. I went to work out and put all my stuff in my lockers and locked it. When I came back all of my stuff was gone and my locker was still locked. My wallet was gone along with all of my credit cards; I had $400 cash in the wallet due to planning on paying off a hospital bill later on in the day. I figured out what happened. It turns out that the management of the gym are complete retards. They sold keys that worked for multiple lockers. My key worked for 7 different lockers….SEVEN. I hate, hate, hate, hate thieves….why can’t people just respect each other and not hurt and steal from each other. There should be a special place in hell reserved for thieves. I hate thieves!

P.S. I would give just about anything to know who stole all of my stuff from my locker. I would love to meet that guy face to face.
