Who am I?
I’m just a regular guy from Southern Alberta. I play a lot of sports, but mostly I spend my time behind the computer screen. I live in a house I bought a few years ago. I play a lot of ultimate, and I’m the ref for the U of L’s intramural water polo league.
I took the New Media program at the University of Lethbridge and now that I’m finished, I’m looking for contract work—media consulting and web design is my speciality.
A few years ago, I travelled through South-East Asia and worked at GXM Studio where I created storyboard proposals for Kick-Ray, a 3D animated television series, and Channel V identity advertisements. (Channel V is Asia’s version of Much Music or MTV). I also worked on a flash based tile game and was the host of a corporate video.
I get a lot of emails about my backmasking page. I try to respond to a lot of them, but I occasionally fail in responding—I hope you understand—but know that I do read all of them.
I used to swim for the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns. My best event was the 50 meter freestyle. I have a best time of 24.56. That was my most memorable swim because at the end of the race not only did I have a best time, but I also dislocated my middle finger when I touched the wall. It has never really been the same since.
I try to write about things that interest me on the web page, but I also don’t want it to become too self oriented, so I try to mix it up with links that I like. Of course sometimes I’ll go for weeks where I post only about my life but at other times I’ll go just as long with posts that have nothing to do with me.
