Do You Like to Look For Backmasking?

Please leave a comment here if you're into the whole backmasking thing. Have you tried it? What have you found? Do you think there is something to it, or do you just think it's all a coincidence? This is the place to leave your comments on what you've discovered from your own experimenting.

If you don't know where to start, Audacity is a great open-source, freeware audio editor for Windows, Macintosh, and Linux. Among its features is the ability to reverse audio files.

I just found the weirdest thing! If you reverse the first minute of "Sunday Bloody Sunday" it sounds like this

I have found a few, actually sent one to Jeff, but yeah the ones ive found are.


In the Gorillaz song "Feel Good Inc" when the rappers are rapping, forwards they say watch me as i gravitate... listen backwards and you hear "Its Americas angels..."


Also if you listen to "White Light" by the Gorillaz, the whole song forwards is "White Light, Whitle Light , dodododo... Alcohol Alcohol Alcohol..." Whole song. Backwards, it sounds like "God Help *indistinguishable Gibberish* God Help..." over and over.

Hey everyone, I found another song that if you play it backwards, it has a secret message. In the song I'm Blue by Eiffel 65, the chorus is "I'm Blue, Da Ba Dee, Da Ba Dy.." and so on. If yuo play this part backwards it says "Somebody, somebody die". There are other parts in the song that if you play backwards, there are messages. This one stood out to me.

hey guys
me and my frends were messin around with some tunes and if you play nazareth's razamanaz backwards at the part where it says "razamatas razamanas up on your feet lets ya dance dance" it says "i serve satan"

jeff- i made a flash like what you have once. i made it before i knew about yours and then people were telling me i ripped you off but i had no clue yours exsisted. i have a huge interest in backmasking. my flash has some yours doesnt, and your flash has some mine doesnt. anyways ive heard lots of it. my opinion on it is some are intentional, some are coincedental, and some are just wishful thinking. thats about it. one more thing- play hotel california backwards again. listen carefully. there is alot you missed.

forward- there were voices down the corridor, though i heard them say, welcome to the hotel california

backward- yeah satan, he organized, oh, he organized his own religion. yeah, when he knows he should, how nice it was delicious, he puts it in a vet he fixes it for his son which he gives away.

I have also found in a song by The Misfits "Skulls" after the 2nd corus where they sing "I want your skull, I need your skull" when my friend and I were goofing around with his 45' we heard "I will eat your soul".

Hi. I was playing "wouldnt it be nice" by the beach boys and decided to play it backwards to see if there were any messages and i found one. i didnt listen to the whole thing but i found in the part that says "...oh wouldnt it be nice..." it says (or sounds like) "...i hear satan..."

the eminem song My name is... blew me away. its...cool!

BTW, if you want freaky, backmask the movie "the exorcist". the original one. just the audio part. around the part where linda blair's head starts spinning. i won't spoil it for ya. and pretty much everytime she/it talks in gibberish backmask that.
