If You’re Going to San Francisco…
January 9th, 2007On Sunday I’m taking off for a few days in the California sun. No, I’m not off to MacWorld, but I am going to San Francisco to take part in a Social Media Club round table discussion.
Chris Heuer (SMC Co-Founder) will lead a roundtable discussion on blogs, podcasting and all the cool things we want to do and would like to see happen in 2007. SMC is working to connect Social Media groups all over the world, so it’s a great way to take a part in universal efforts to spread the Social Media love.
I’m really looking forward to it, for one thing, my skin is getting a little pasty white up here in the Great White North—but also it will be a great opportunity to make some interesting new friends south of the border. Maybe it’ll even inspire me to start my own podcast.

I live really close to ‘Cisco…. I almost want to meet you and tell you about how badass your site is, but you probably get that all the time anyways. It’s probably gotten old. Besides, everyone hates kids.

Jeff,
It was great to meet you at the SMC tonight… I tried to find you, because when I told Kristie you were checking on the T-Shirt raffle she was all ready to give you one, but you’d already left. Drop her a line - I’m sure she’ll send it to you. She was dead impressed that you’d come all the way to SF for the event!

Hey Amy,
Yeah I did get a t-shirt. Thanks so much, I had a good time and hope to see more SMC activities north of the border.

Tanner,
Sorry I couldn’t meet up with you. It was a fairly busy week and I’m always interested in meeting new people, but under different circumstances. Perhaps some time in the future. Thanks for the compliment on my site though.
